 West Tennessee Strawberry Festival

The West Tennessee Strawberry Festival has been an annual tradition in Humboldt since 1934. It’s an opportunity for a classic West Tennessee homecoming as people travel from across the country to enjoy the events, the food and the fellowship of family and friends. Pageants, music, the horse show, fireworks, the recipe contest, the carnival, parades with floats and bands, the 5K & 10K runs, festival cuisine and more are all a part of the attraction.

Kenton White Squirrel Festival

This annual festival starts with a patriotic flag-raising ceremony & tribute to American veterans at Kenton’s Community Center. Festival events include bingo night, auctions for local children’s charity, “Business After Hours”, annual White Squirrel 5K Run, July 4th parade, town dance & fireworks. No-Till Field Day (Even Years Only)

Since 1981, the Milan No-Till Field Day has hosted visitors from across the country and around the world to the largest field day in the nation dedicated to conservation tillage. In the beginning, we demonstrated how to “no-till,” and basic tours on planter setup and weed control were available. Since those early years, the field day has progressed to not only include no-till basics but also to show producers how to incorporate the latest technologies into a no-till system.
